Aims of the PAB Group

	To Elect members to Parish, Borough and County Councils.
	Seeking to eliminate excessive bureaucracy in local government.
	Monitor activities in all Councils in our area of activity.
	To promote the keeping of party politics out of local government.
	To reduce confidential business/closed doors government and to encourage more open government.

The principle policies of the PAB Group are:

To keep party political issues out of local government, to protect the Green Belt and preserve the green open spaces of our town. To promote sensible developments that provides houses, employment and services for local people while retaining the proud and beautiful architectural heritage of Cheltenham.

To preserve the environment and all the integral parts of its complex structure.

To promote the setting of realistic budgets that provides the necessary services for the people. Budgets should be set with local taxpayers in mind and not political aims.

Communication with the public is essential for democracy and a fairer society.     That is why the P.A.B. Group informs the people they serve by the regular publication of its Newsletter
